One New CANSLIM Swing Long And One New Speculative Swing Long

new CANSLIM swing long: OMCL

OMCL is bouncing off the 50 dma, on extremely strong volume. Since the early 2005 bottom, this stock has been making a steady advance to new highs, on very strong accumulation, low volume pullbacks, and green BOP. Recently the stock has gotten very pretty with BOP going max green during the recent pullback and on today’s breakout. EPS has been growing between 100% and 999% and sales has been growing between 19% and 41%, the past five quarters. 2007 estimates is for a year over year gain of 45% and ROE is a strong 45%. Fund ownership has jumped the past four quarters from 49 to 74 funds. As you can see, there are plenty of reasons for this stock to move higher. However, if the stock does not continue to move higher immediately, cut your loss with a close below the 50 dma.

new speculative swing long: ATV

ATV is bouncing off recent support and breaking out past the past twelve trading day’s closing highs, on strong volume. This is a nice chart, for an IPO, as most IPO’s do not have green BOP so early. So this seems like a decent IPO to go long. EPS is bleeding red ink and sales have made a turn for the worst the past two quarters, so besides a nice IPO chart there is not much else. It is good that management owns 49% but I do not recommend emotional inexperienced investors own any of this as the fundamentals are very poor and the stock is too new. Cut your loss with a close below the 23.40 level, if the stock does not move higher immediately.
