TMR 8-16-00 to 1-16-01

January 3, 2008

TMR was another fantastic long that was easy to buy a lot of due to its setup. Why can’t we get these kind of setups anymore? Anyways, despite a horrible Nasdaq that fell 33%, TMR gained 55% in five months. I know that doesn’t sound amazing but you have to remember the buy signal, if you look, was as much of a screaming buy as you can find. The reward/risk ratio was just too perfect, bouncing off the 50 DMA and breaking out to a new high on that kind of volume with BOP being green for so long is just something you can’t pass up. Remember a 55% gain during a market that fell 33% is a true 88% return against the Nasdaq. Not bad, if you ask me.
