ARD 7-29-05 to 4-13-06

ARD was another oil stock that setup in a nice pattern but this wasn’t any ordinary pattern. This pattern was way more smooth than the big oil stocks and still had a great fundamentals. I wish I would have held it longer than I did hold it but still in eight months and then days this stock produced a nice comfortable smooth 160% return in a market that, as those who know that were there, saw the VIX get shredded to the 10 region. Do you know how hard it is to make big money in a 10 VIX market? Yet, I did it all throughout late 2004-mid 2006. It just slowly got worse and worse but as you can see via my big winners from 2006, 2007, and two in 2008 so far there is still the ability to make money in a low VIX environment.

Sometimes big winners aren’t that big of winners but they make big gains in a short amount of time from perfect charts that I still consider them easy money. The problem with this one is when I made my first sell, I had NO CLUE it was sadly the top. So I only got a little off at the top but this is just another example of another bullish stock 2 years AFTER the bull market started. Those of you still thinking “I missed this move” after every bear market rally are annoying and history helps you learn the right way if you just take the time to learn it.
GEOI made a nice 64% return in only 14 days. Where are all these beautiful charts at now?

Proving once again that in a REAL BULL MARKET you can be up to two years late and still make a fortune we have BCON here showing you how to make a quick mint in only a month and a little over a week. In that short 1 1/2 months almost an EASY 291% was taken from this little power company. Those that cry and show their newbie ignorance by saying “but I feel like I have missed the run” have no clue that real bull markets last years and when you are like me you can find real gems ALL THE TIME as long as the trend is up. It isn’t me, it is the market. God bless those that first learn their history before opening up their mouth about “missing the run already.” Anyone hearing a lot of that recently? I know I am.
TSCM 12-1-05 to 7-6-06

TSCM was once a fine stock that setup in a nearly perfect pattern and launched a nice run that took the stock on a 144% run in seven months and one week. It was not a HUGE winner but it was a very easy winner to load up on and make some easy money. The pattern that it setup in before its run was perfect with the right amount of max green BOP, huge accumulation, and good price action you need for these winners. Even if it is in a stock that was once the best website to read, now, after I worked with them and they have changed the site, it is a horrible shell of its once self. How do you fire me, Gary B. Smith, and cut back on Technical Analysis. There are other amazing contributors that they have fired or have told “to go their seperate way” and I think the current state of the stock reflects what David Sterman is doing to the company. However back in 2005 it was an EASY 144% in seven months. Great stuff and sad stuff all at the same time.
BOOM 2-15-05 to 4-26-06

BOOM was a huge beautiful winner that was a little tricky loading up on the first purchase due to the weak close and then the second purchase due to it being a little, what seemed to me, to be a bit extended from the 50 DMA. But the gorgeous max green BOP at the start of the base and on the breakout made this easy, along with the strong turnaround in fundamentals, to get long this beauty. This was no regular stock as it was truly a monster stock of all proportions gaining an incredible 507% gain in 14 months and two weeks. This was truly a long-term capital gains beauty. You sure are NOT going to find them in this current market environment.
GIGM 12-19-05 to 5-11-06

GIGM advanced an amazing 253% in four months and three weeks. It was an obvious buy and an obvious add TO ME. Very pretty chart made it very easy to hold on the way up.
ERS 11-10-05 to 5-3-06

ERS was an easy long and an easy long to hold as it ran up a whopping 562% in only five months and three weeks. This is just one of many big winners during the time. When our video presentation software is ready to go I am going to profile every single one.
DSTI 4-21-05 to 7-18-05

DSTI was one of my biggest positions in 2005 with it making up a very large chunk of my account as the chart, as you can see, was nearly perfect, even though the fundies were not. The top was nearly impossible to spot but it was still a powerful move in a short amount of time and almost all of the full move was realized as taking profits in a rising stock always enables you to hold on to most of the gains. DSTI was a great stock in a short amount of time, in a wild market, as it rose 144% in three months. It wasn’t a huge victory but it was an “easy” stock to get very long as the setup was nearly perfect. This setup is one of my favorite. HRZ in 2006 will be the one I love the best.
